Founder & CEO, Respondr

“We created Respondr to help close the distance between what an organization intends to happen and what people are actually prepared to do.”

Our Story

Experience revealed a gap.

After years working in safety, preparedness, and crisis response, our founder saw the same challenge again and again: organizations often had plans, policies, and procedures, but the people responsible for carrying them out did not always have the information, practice, or support they needed in the moment.

Critical guidance could be difficult to find. Staff members were unsure where to report concerns or what to do next. Leadership struggled to maintain a clear picture of what was happening. And after an incident or exercise, valuable lessons were often difficult to capture and apply.

Respondr was created to close those gaps.

Our Values

What guides us

Plans should be usable

Guidance should be clear, accessible, and relevant when people need it.

Preparedness requires practice

People respond more confidently when they have opportunities to learn and rehearse.

Leadership needs visibility

Leaders need timely information and shared situational awareness.

Every response should be learned from

Exercises and incidents should generate lessons that strengthen future readiness.

Our Philosophy

This work is personal to us.

Behind every procedure is a person who may one day need to rely on it. We think about the staff member trying to remember the next step, the employee reporting something that does not feel right, and the leader working to understand a rapidly changing situation.

Our goal is not to add more complexity. It is to make preparedness and response clearer, more connected, and more actionable for everyone involved.

Better preparation starts before the moment of crisis.

See how Respondr can help your organization turn plans into practice, connect people and leadership, and build a stronger cycle of continuous improvement.
